I don't think even a strong armed QB throws 55-65 yard darts. I believe that ball would have some air under it.

Have you played the Madden 12 demo? The ol/dl interaction is much improved, as is the way the pocket will form.

Re: No more QB deep drop complaints?

EXACTLY. The problem isn't peopl taking 20 yard drops and throwing the ball away, but rather taking 20 yard drops and not getting pressured by the ends or having any decrease in the accuracy of the pass. Most people don't drop that far back and throw the ball away. The vidoe is a good example of the intentional grounding rule but not of the typical cheese that is prevelant online.

I have played it. It is better, but not even close to where it should be.

There are still no riding animations. Running into an O-Lineman who is parallel to the LOS while you are running perpendicular to it, and making contact with just the outside reach of the O-Lineman is still enough to make you come to a standstill most times.

The angles that the outside rush takes is better, but the lack of variety in ways that the OL/DL interact makes it still too much of a "I have you totally blocked to a standstill" or "I come totally free" affair. Need to see much more animations where they are engaged but not to the point that the defender is glued to the OL.

For examples, see the other game. Or real life. Either or.

But to reiterate, it is definitely better than it has been, based on the demo.

I would rather see realistic pass speeds take care of the issue. Dropping back and throwing 50 yard passes on a rope should be near impossible the way it's been done in Madden.
