(Opinion) Improve tracking the ball?

Hey guys, for the past few years I've been playing I've always noticed one thing on defense, when I throw a deep pass on offense or even a dump off to my running back theres usually a defender covering him showing his back to the QB and all of a sudding turn and intercept the ball or do the weird jumping animation and make the catch.

Since I thought how unrealistic that looked when I play it I thought maybe they could rework the triangle catch button. Instead of waiting until the ball got to the defender maybe they could make you hold down the triangle to make the defender turn his head and time the jump or know when to catch it. So instead of them just turning and all of a sudden knowing the ball is there they have to track the ball and adjust accordingly.

Maybe make an attribute so a better CB needs less time to time the interception.

Just and idea I had thought of and would like to know what you guys thought, maybe make some suggestions on fixing this.

Oh well to be honest anything even SAID about the demo is considered an impression thread...

They're a bit strict when it comes to that stuff, as it gets pretty crazy here around Madden's release.

Good to know, I come from the finheaven forum(Miami Dolphins fans site), they are a little less strict about threads there. But now I know to watch for stuff like that, thanks!

Good idea.

A bit off topic, in Madden 09 if u held the button down ur receiver would do a possession catch, and tapping it would do an aggressive catch
