This topic really doesn't matter. In years past the CPU would just sign all the big guys in free agency in franchise mode before week one so you would not get accurate opening day rosters. That is unless you controlled all 32 teams anyway.

Why not just save two separate roster files?

Just control all 32 teams and simulate the games. Im glad we have a lot of extra players in the game now
