Vision Cone 2.0

Does anyone else think this would be awesome? Being able to see the entire field makes the passing game too easy, and the only way to be challenged is on All-Madden where the DB's consistently smother your receivers. Neither is realistic. I think this would add some much needed difficulty (without having to be cheated on All-Madden) and realism. If any resemblance of real NFL pre-snap coverage looks ever make it into the game, and we're forced to make pre-snap reads like IRL, hell I could honestly see myself playing this way. What say you OS?

I wouldn't use it... I don't think its very realistic. I mean.. I still see the receivers on the screen.. And even when you actually play QB in real life (7 on 7) you can pretty much see the 3/4 to the whole field except for the flat...

And I mean.. its not like different QBs have trouble seeing.. they have trouble making the right decision.. Its not like Russell/Lienhart are terrible because they dont have peripheral vision.

Also, I don't think my hands should do the work of my eyes would normally do.

So eh.. I wouldn't use it and would not like it... besides.. it would just give more people to complain about anyways..

No, I really didn't like the vision cone. The controls were to awkward for me.

Yea the controls would definitely have to be redone. What I didn't like was that the cone was completely responsive to the stick. I think it would work better if the cone kind of just 'stuck' to the closest receiver on whichever side you move it to, which I think would be realistic anyway because QB's generally know where their receivers are going and probably don't have much trouble locating them. But you still have to see what you're throwing at

Why have a vision cone? You can't look at the whole field at the same time, you still have to make your own reads and your own progressions while playing the game, you don't just keep your eyes in one spot and see everything.

The vision cone is just an eye sore and incredibly NON user-friendly.

You certainly can with the camera angles we're given. Well maybe not the whole field, but certainly more than real QB's can.
