The tackling is definitely better than it was in the demo, I'm being serious.

To my eyes, the ONE thing that stands out to me as needing serious improvement (other than commentary) is the line play. It's just.... so lacking. It looks nothing like what you see on the field every Sunday.

I think you miss the point. The people you quote are in the Gamechangers program and obviously spent a lot of time enjoying Madden 11, 10, 09.... As someone who hasn't enjoyed madden since the ps2 days, I'm not going to take the game changers word as the gospel truth that the retail version is infinitely better than the demo. Especially since what I see with my own eyes is telling me otherwise.

If you can find a sim football gamer who feels the last few versions have been medicore at best and who also has a copy of the retail version, let me know because I would love to know what he thinks.

well the only problem i really saw was commentary, but i have muted it the last few years any way since they switched to annoying *** collinsworth. i really hate that dip ****s annoying raspy *** voice, not to mention the things he says dont even make sense, in madden and real life telecast.

All I can say : it's a game. I except to have fun with it, and be amazed by little thing they've done well. I was like you before, searching bad things first instead of having fun (first goal of a video game) and be amazed with little things...

I admit, that game ain't perfect and there's always that 2k5 ghost over EA's head but could we first play the game and then argue on it ? Take the game for three days, and ask yourself if you buy it or not. Simple task.
