Can't you have it both ways? Can't you sim your game itself, but then make your roster moves yourself?

The last time I played Madden, you could sim your teams games. I remember there were some people on the boards who only played a few games per season and summed the rest. I never really understood the appeal of that, but I remember the choice existed.

Yeah the reason i got my preseason set up like that is simple because i dont want to take a risk getting one of my star players hurt.

not to mention it will really help me undrafted rookies/ camp bodies to see if any of them have the potential to be stars.
