I'm pretty sure that it actually helps development this year. I think its one of the player roles.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I'm leaning towards Matt Flynn or Brady Quinn, just because in real life the asking price for a lot of the guys being mentioned in this thread would exceed what the Bills would give up. I think I'll trade for Matt Flynn (since I'm a Packer fan), and have Fitzpatrick and Flynn battle throughout the year. I'm hoping I can manage to do ok with Flynn, and then draft my QB in the 2012 draft.

Pryor will be much more of a project, will definitely need a mentor. I also want to see if he has any recieving stats.
In madden 11 (and probably in past ones too), a qb with a low awareness has a higher chance for his wr to drop the pass. Even talented wrs who are completely open just manage to drop a perfect pass much more often. Try it out.

Im looking forward to Mallet and Pryor myself, although i prefer getting a qb through the draft so i can feel like im building my team instead of working a trade to steal a peice of what someone else built.

Terrell Pryor and Ryan Mallett.

TP to the Eagles

and in my league I'm the Pats so I'll be trading Brady for some great players, and relying on Mallett for the rest.
