Favorite Player: Real life vs. Madden

I feel like I should split this answer up between players on my actual favorite team and then just in general.


The Chiefs are my favorite team, so...

Real Life - Tamba Hali now, Priest Holmes all time

Madden - Jamaal Charles now, Tony Gonzalez all time

Charles is just too awesome to use in Madden and Gonzo was absolutely unstoppable at the height of my Madden playing.

Madden - Is probably still Charles. Guy is just too great in Madden

How can you not have Derrick Thomas?! By far my favorite player of all-time.
I remember being like four years old playing Tecmo Super Bowl and being him and Christian Okoye (who is probably my favorite virtual player of all time) the Chiefs were unstoppable.

Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, and Tamba are my favorite players right now. I'm more of a fan of the 'Lead by example', humble guys more than the flashy 'look at me' stuff. Loved Priest Holmes. Larry Johnson can die.

I'm only 24, so I don't have a lot of memories of those great defenses with Derrick Thomas. I didn't really start following football and getting really into it until about 2000 or so. I just think it's kind of hard to consider someone your "favorite" if you didn't really get to see them play.

Eric Berry might be the most fun I have ever had playing on defense with Madden.
