Re: The Franchise Moves/Advice Thread

My first year with the hawks and I traded Hawthorne for DRC and a fourth rd pick. Signed tatupu, and signed TO to play the slot. Looking at drafting a QB since my running game is what's making me win games

You may like it but it's not happening. Eagles won't trade Samuel for 1st,at least the intrest turns green but the Giants are even less intrested.

I'm tempted to sign Tatupu to the Eagles but Casey Matthews looked pretty good in my first preason game. I'm going to play him extensively the first 3 games of the preseason and see how he ends up and make a decision from there.

My plans are...

Trade:
1. Harrison - Get something for him while he still has value.
2. Dixon - He wants traded so he can try to start somewhere, so he's gone.
3. Gay - Steelers just resigned him, but I can't stand him.

Cut:
1. Batch - 36 years old and always getting injured.

Acquire (Thru Trade / FA):
1. #2 CB - Last piece to the puzzle
2. #3 QB - Add depth
3. #1G or #1T - Help protect Ben
Another move I forgot was to cut or trade Sweed. Not a big fan of his (Injuries + drops)

I might try to pick up brother Pouncey too if the Dolphins will part with him, but I doubt they will go for it.

I suggest you pick him up and let them each battle. Whoever plays better starts and then you have a decent backup.

Re: The Franchise Moves/Advice Thread

Bucs - Thinking about Signing Hayden at CB, and moving Ronde to FS, and Tanard Jackson to SS. Rhonde's MCV (66) is a liability, because while I like the cover 2, I have to switch it up sometimes. The bad part is he has a PRS rating of like 96 that would go to waste. And I am still wondering if Nickel/Dime I should bring him back to corner, Tanard Jackson to FS, and Sean Jones at SS (their natural positions) thoughts?
