My plan is to go with the Bucs my first year, then switch to one of the 3 worst teams in the league. Ill start the Rebuilding process from there.

My guess is the teams will be, Skins, Bills, Bengals, Dolphins. I will make my decision on what team will be the most fun to rebuild.

Question; Is the "change team" interface the first popup in the Offseason mode? I would like to be able to make all of the moves with my new team.

Re: The Franchise Moves/Advice Thread

Seahawks

I sent a 2nd rounder to the titans for Jake Locker. I love him(yes, I am a husky homer) but I like what he can do for my offense with a bootleg and throwing on the run.

I was surprised when I could trade my 3rd and Kelly Jennings...like Im passing that up.

I then traded for Taylor Mays and converted him to LB. I know his overall isn't that great but he has 95(?) speed and for a LB is good in coverage.

I'm trying to get a good stock of picks for 2013/2014 drafts so I can pick up some people I played as in NCCA. I do look to upgrade my FB, MLB, and DE positions next.

I especially like all the new scouting to Madden. I find it actually semi challenging and I haven't for the past few games for sure! I do wish for a lower cap...I have about 50 mil available after year 1. Thats not realistic.

this is a great trade idea

but i doubt tennesee will accept it in the game

but i will definitely try something like this for the 49ers as one of the 4 teams i will control.

They will not.

Anyone have any idea what to do with Hardesty and Massaquoi?
I traded for Jacoby Ford, having him Cribbs and Little is like having 3 of the same guy so doesn't matter who gets the ball. Hardesty isn't needed to begin with plus I signed Noel Devine off the FA list,he's the exact opposite of Hillis so fits better and of course I'd rather risk a back up HB for returns than one of my WRs.

The Steelers cut some of their "suspended" players.
Found a home for Tebow in Seattle. Put Palmer on the Lions in case Stafford gets hurt. Unfortuantly they decided to start him. Traded CJ to the Chargers for Philips and Tolbert.

I would try to get a good cover safety to start opposite of TJ.

I'm going to do a franchise with my Bills. I have a few ideas, mainly starting with the quarterback.

After Year 1, I hope to draft Andrew Luck and move Fitzpatrick to #2. After that, ill need to upgrade my 2nd WE, TE and both offensive and defensive line positions.

Depending on how my draft class looks, I may try to move up into the first round for a second first round pick to get either a pass rushing DE or a tackle who can protect Luck's blindside.

A pass catching TE is high on my list since the Bills haven't had a decent TE in years.

Put Peyton Manning's injury rating down a bit.

My team (Browns):
Get a RB that can catch.
Try to find a WR above 80.
Upgrade the right side of the o-line.
Upgrade d-line or make a playbook full of odd schemes to cover up lack of talent up front.
It's cool, the Browns still couldn't beat us minus those players.

My plans are...

Trade:
1. Harrison - Get something for him while he still has value.
2. Dixon - He wants traded so he can try to start somewhere, so he's gone.
3. Gay - Steelers just resigned him, but I can't stand him.

Cut:
1. Batch - 36 years old and always getting injured.

Acquire (Thru Trade / FA):
1. #2 CB - Last piece to the puzzle
2. #3 QB - Add depth
3. #1G or #1T - Help protect Ben
