That's correct, up to 16gb each, and you can have up to two connected at any time I believe.

Get anything more than 16 and the 360 will only be able to use 16gb of it.

I purchased an 8gb, downloaded season pass and downloaded madden, when i came inside it didn't say anything about the download or if it finsihed or not. I have only 2.3 gb space left on it but it shows nothing on the usb drive at all and gives me no way to access if i downloaded it. i have no idea what to do.
