Sad, because I remember back on the PS2 that each player had different scales for how much each of the above things mattered to them and how much it would influence their likeliness to sign with a team.

Very very disappointing to me :/

Also, the whole "bidding system" and the time limit are INCREDIBLY unrealistic. Only certain players (who only care about the money) go to whatever team pays the most. Most players will go to X team because of how good that team is or other things that would influence them.

The bidding system is a major negative in my eyes.
Couldn't possibly agree more.

This is kinda how I feel about it but I'm still fine with it for now.

Agreed. Look at Nnamdi this year. He took a pay cut to go play with Philly.

Exactly, even though other teams were in a bidding war for him, he took a deal with the Eagles at the last second. Things like this will never happen in Madden 12 :/

I could be wrong, but I doubt he took much of a paycut.

If it works like head coach, the winner of the bidding doesn't always get the players, they just get first chance to sign the guy.

What Madden should do is copy, and then build on, the free agency model that NBA 2K11 uses.

Don't like it. Not one bit.

What happened to their motto "True to the game"?
