Interesting... so the highest reviews were given to graphics and presentation? Without those scores, this game would be a 7.5 or possibly a 7.0 which is horrible in my opinion.

Reason, I mention this, is that this is EA's strength year in and year out. Nothing more than an art team!

I'll be leaving it on the shelf this year!

FLIGHTWHITE says the sentiment is pretty accurate, so I can't argue, but the article lacks professionalism and instantly loses credibility with me when it notes the only major gameplay improvement is DEFENSIVE ASSIST. The same defensive assist that's been in the game for 2 years.

It looks better, it plays better, and franchise mode is expanded.... This is pretty much all I need to hear. I could care less about the lack of game modes. I think I'll enjoy this years Madden a lot more than last year.

Yep, I agree. They need to bring back Madden as a commentator. I really wish he would come out of retirement, and call some more games as well...

Yep, that disappearing player thing is almost out of line, and the fact that reviewers have been saying the PS3 version looks bland, with muddy field look that the reviewer stated isn't a good look, worries me.
