Trades are close to impossible?

This deal is not a no brainer. The extra picks are nice, but they could be late 1st and 2nd round picks. Also, a straight Ray Lewis for Peterson deal isn't that great.

1. Peterson's contract expires in 2011 and AP might not resign with the Ravens. On the other hand, Ray Lewis won't become a UFA until 2016 and there is every reason to think he'd stay with the Ravens until he retires.
2. Running back is often easier to replace than MLB. Green Bay won the Super Bowl with an undrafted free agent at HB, the Patriots had home field with two unheralded HBs and Arian Foster blew up after being a no name.
3. A MLB often runs the defense and Ray Lewis is one of the top two or three MLBs out there.

I signed T.O. and traded him to the Raiders for Ford along with their 1st & 4th round picks.
Then I tried to offer an edited 99 rated player to ATL for the pick they owe CLE and it was rejected. (Edit him back down later so they'd cut him) Then I offered TWO 99 rated players for the 1st and no. Then THREE 99 rated players and still no. Then I offer one 99 and an 89 taking back 2 of their bad players THEN it works. I've been unable to get anything at all for Massaquoi.
