Has playing the early release changed your decision to purchase the game?

It's changed my decision but that doesn't mean I still won't purchase it.
It's no longer a day 1 purchase so it's changed. There were quite a few problems,I'm locked out of offline stuff because I'm not giving MS $60 a year to play online and the NCAA imports are messed up at least for another week. I played through the pre-season games so can't advance further in franchise without the draft class. I've got 3 games left in my NCAA season so can't fully advance there until next week either. I'll use the week to see if others come up with more problems.

Demo had me impressed. The season Ticket had me blown away.

I'm one of the few on here that actually Loves Madden 12 this year and that surprises me.

I thought for sure this game would have been received differently.

I got the Season Ticket and played it a little bit. It didn't wow me and the fact that I still had/have NCAA on the brain meant Madden didn't get a lot of air time. So, what I ended up doing is renting it from Gamefly so that I can get some more gaming in with it. If I like it, I'll buy it from them at a discount rate. if not, they hey it's money saved. Gamefly shipped the game out today so I should have it tomorrow.

Game is out and for the first time in what, 10+ years? I didn't buy it.

Every year I have become more and more frustrated with their product. This year the way franchise was hyped up, I was expecting Head Coach '09 with Madden's graphics and gameplay.
Not so much, franchise mode is terribly disappointing. To anyone who actually played Head Coach you have to agree. IMO it's rather pathetic that a game made 6 years ago on an older system is 100 times more in-depth.
It's not fair to us gamers that they made a really great game in Head Coach and then just dumped it.
