I noticed that before I got this years game, some other people who like to play via coach mode (like myself
) had posted that it didn't work right in previous years games. BUT...
Coach mode does work in franchise mode...
on the Wii
The option for turning it on is in the franchise mode itself, but it does appear to be working fine on the Wii, but it appears that you can't call audibles while in coach mode (makes sense, you don't run the QB
) but I wish it did allow you to call audibles though, as you could call them in a different game that I played a few years ago.
You can call audibles and do the old style coach mode, where you switch from the QB to another player and then you hike the ball and the A.I. runs all the other plays, but...
in this mode, you still have to do the kicking and punting yourself. But it's extremely easy to kick in this game on the Wii. Surprisingly easy, maybe too easy.
