What's surprised you the most?

What has surprised you with this years Madden release? Was it good, bad? Is there anything that's missing that you believed would have been in the game? Anything, even the little things.

Nothing really, good ideas that are either poorly implemented, not what I expected, or just "same ole, same ole". I honestly thought the forums would be at a fever pitch saying how this game is a must have (hold for EA's staunch advocates). The fact that its better than 11 isnt saying a whole lot.

Biggest surprise is same bugs and glitches from last 2 years still exist, and the price is a tough sell given it's almost identical to 2011

Wow. As usual, reading OS makes me not want to buy the game and I assume that I'll regret buying it as I usually do. That said, gamers on his site are usually spot on in their observations. When they say a game rocks, the forums general tone says that (see MLB The Show series or NBA 2k). When they say a game stinks, it stinks.

Why can't I ever just feel satisfied or better yet like I cannot put the game down like I did from the late 90s to around 2004-2005 with this game? Sigh.

Its the Internet Age, people don't want to try things out themselves and make their own opinions, they prefer to listen to others.
