What does the immediate patch do?

According to Daily Norseman, it's a mandatory roster update patch. If you decide not to download the patch, Donovan McNabb won't be in the Vikings roster.

So yeah, it's just a quick roster patch.

Really? I took out all the downloaded rosters so the default would load up and its a rather old roster for the default, so if they forced a updated roster i'm not really seeing it.

I got the update last night as well and everything was honky dory as far as rosters were concerned.

It was 4MB's.

IC, I downloaded the Online one from Xbox live though. I'm not sure how they would have gotten an update through Microsoft that fast though, the roster bug was just late last week.

Are we sure its a roster patch? On the PS3 it was a 37mb patch. Maybe they did something with ST. I got a FG Block and returned a punt for positive yardage and a TD. I know I saw some complaints ST was pretty much useless...

Glad I found this thread. I was dreading having to edit the rosters to represent everything up to the first preseason game.

I mean I WISH Baltimore kept McClain and Mason, but...

Of course, I also thought about just dumping all the cut people - but the FA bidding doesn't kick in on season one.

At first I thought maybe it was a patch to port in everything that was set up (profile and rosters) during the Madden Pre-Release through Season Ticket... Guess I'm wrong as it sounds like everyone is getting this. But strange there's no official word on this.
