And i feel completely helpless its half time and its already 21-10 ( i returned a kickoff for a TD with 25 seconds left in the half)...Denver is crushing me...Portis has 124 yds and 2 TDS on 9 carries....Plummer has 105 yds passing..its ugly...I know its not my sliders they work great i guess its just a bad team.

I went 7-9 in my Bengals Franchise the first year and im 12-3 so far in year 2, I never messed around with the sliders or difficulty, its that the Bengals suck with the players they have. About half way through the year, if Kitna sucks put Palmer in there so his ratings go up after the year. After the first year, training camp, and pre season, Palmer is rated an 87 overall and is the the league MVP so far this year.

I was thinking about starting Palmer and trading Kitna but i think im gonna stick with Kitna for now and see what happens until about week 6.

I started a Bengals franchise in Madden this week and simmed the first 2 seasons then traded my top players to get 4 of the first 6 picks (the #6 pick was already the Bengals pick) in the year 2 draft and drafted some studs:

1st pick: Maurice Clarett rated 88
2nd pick: Mike Williams rated 90
3rd pick: Chris Gamble rated 95
6th pick: Doug (Dan?) Johnson LB from Texas rated 85

Hows them for studs to build your team around with Carson Palmer. My Bengals are kicking some mean a$$ in year 3.

I went to teh AFC championship my first year, but I lost a lot of $$. I didn't trade anyone or pick up any free agents.
Dillon finished 2nd in teh MVP voting, and first in RB of the year. I did get my *** handed to me by Miami in the championship, and I lost 6 games during the season. I am now in year 2 and I think I am 10-5, I really need some CBs, other than that my team is pretty solid, nothing great, like an 84 overall.

I am glad to see other people are actually playing as the Bengals, that's awesome!
