Franchise Mode is ridiculous and I haven't even played a game

I did a fantasy draft after renting this game.

First off, the draft is only like 49 or 50 rounds, instead of 75.

Second, instead of filling the rest of our roster with undrafted players, they generate randoms.

Third, I wanted to get Darvin Adams on my team and he wasn't drafted when the draft ended. He's a 59 OVR. I went to free agents, and the lowest rated WR there was was a 63! I checked all of the rosters and no one else signed him.

I feel like I was putting together a team I loved in the draft, and when it ended it was all screwed up. Is there any way to change this????
