yeah there are posters out there on other forums who count the pixels. Here is a list of PS3 games and 360 games..and their legit resolutions. VERY interesting if you have never came across it.

there were many early PS3 games that were legit 1080p. Even NBA 2K7...but the next year they dropped it to 720p to match the 360 version.

How do I know if my tv has upscaling? I'm using a Samsung T240HD monitor.
