Need help with trucking and user control.

I'm using Legarrette Blount (98 in trucking and 98 in stiff arm) and I'm trying to plow through DB's while playing online. I can't seem to get the truck animation to trigger while holding up on the right stick and running at full speed.

I went off line and tried to practice the timing and I'm still unable to truck a DB in the open field. Anyone know how it done?

While in practice mode I did see that the animation is in the game. Just look at Lesean McCoy be controlled by the CPU, a RB with a ratting of 64 in trucking.

I really haven't had alot of luck with this either. What I have done is run through a guy or two and fall on them forward. But I havent had alot of luck breaking too many tackles...YET. I always experiment with the speed burst like when Im on Defense I play DLine exclusively and I will try bursting off the line, then using the swim move. Or Try using the swim as I speed burst and that works well but thats defense. Im still learning the run game and as you know Im Playin on Very Fast Speed so the learning curve is a little higher. The times I broke a tackle I was converged on by someone else within a yard or two.

I have the same issue. It's like the act of breaking a tackle (the triggered animation) is at a lower speed than any other animations. I have never seen the animation in the video while I was in control of the runner have you?

Have you had any success rolling the right stick up to brace for a hit? I've had none.

Do you play online?
