Please help me with the Fade

Guys, I'm loving the game this year but struggling with throwing the fade.

It's hard enough to get the cpu in a man to man defense. So, when I do, and if the circumstance is just right, I want to throw the fade.

I expect it to fail more times than not. No worries. But, my problem is that I'm basically throwing the ball right at the WR or the DB.

I'm not leading the receiver with a nicely arced ball.

Please help

every qb and receiver are different. just have to practice a lot. but what I usually do is just a regular lob and hope for 1 on 1 and that my receiver actually jumps for it.

How do you execute a regular lob?

Also, I should say I'm trying this with Sanchez. Holmes and Plax should be perfect for the fade.

just tap the button of the recever you want to throw it to

I can only do it on the goal line, when you see your receiver do his chop step (or right after you finish your 1 step drop) that's when you lead to the outside and just tap the button of your intended receiver. It works like 80% of the time against man in a goal line situation for me, seems kind of cheesy so I don't do it much.

Alternatively, you can do a 3 step drop yourself and the play seems to work a bit better.
