Is it possible to sub players per formations, not just depth chart?

If it's like year's past (I haven't gotten into Franchise yet, just a couple multiplayer games)

You have to manually make subs for each formation from the playcall screen in a game. Then, the subs will be saved for you throughout the season. Here's what I do for this:

-Go into Pre-Season Week 1, on my first offensive play, I turn OFF the playclock, and in the play call screen, I manually make all of my formation subs. I run the play, then after the play is dead, I go back and turn the playclock back on (turning the playclock back on for the first play will set it at how however much time would have been left on the clock, resulting in a delay of game). Then my formation subs will be set for the remainder of the season.

You will need to repeat this process for every following season.
