I think the injuries are fine. I played two games so far and just had two injuries. I had a guy out for the game and one out for 2 weeks.

true nfl injury rate(not just acute injuries...including microfracture traumas and chronic) is about 900% yea 900 in the statistics given by the nfl they only count acute injuries and theat is where they get 80% from

Re: Injuries in Franchise Mode

I'm 4 weeks in and half the starting QBs are injured with three on IR and pretty much everyones OL ravaged. Only 4 HBs injured tho.

Injuries on the defensive side seem to be a bit more realistic.

However, during games i see 1-2 injures and its usually the same players (prob cuz they were playing injured)

I'm seeing A LOT of starting QB's getting injured, Rodgers, Kolb, Brady, Garrard, and Freeman were all injured at the same time in one of my franchises. I don't know if it is a trend but I thought that was pretty over the top.

Lol the injuries are fine. The packers had over 16 players on IR. So just imagine the rest of the league combined. Injuries are fine it makes depth important. It also could prevent idiots from keepin their star qb in when they are down/up 50 points. Good job EA

Speaking of which, wtf happened to having guys be probable and questionable and be able to play with reduced ratings, instead of everybody being hurt for a srt # of weeks?

The problem is that there are no practice injuries in Madden, thus the injury rate should be lower than IRL.
