I have noticed that with other rookies as well, but the only flaw in giving Cam and every other rookie their contract under the Rookie Wage scale is that Madden 12 doesn't have the Rookie Scale, so we would still be paying a ton for rookies like we have always done. But either way, your right Rookie Contracts need to be implemented just like how every other contract needs to fixed so all contracts are accurate and Franchise Mode is more realistic.

Anyone know if Contracts will be addressed in the opening day roster update? I know we can give them a new contract but with the way it's broken we are forced to over pay and if contracts won't be addressed please patch in a way we can edit Contracts.

Glad to see some contracts were updated in the Week 1 Roster Update, but how is it that Cam Newton still has a 6 Year Deal and not his 4 Year Rookie Scale deal, Champ Bailey signed an extension with the Broncos but yet he is on a 1 Year $63 Million deal, no team would pay anyone that kind of money for just 1 year. If EA could just keep the $63 Million and extend his years out by 4 or 5 that would be great.

Also, how is it you update Michael Vick's contract but in 2008 when Aaron Rodgers signed a 6 Year extension with the Pack through 2014, you never updated his contract for several games??? Please EA, please patch in a way for us to edit contracts, if you can patch in the ability to Edit Height & Weight in NCAA 12, than it's possible to give us the ability to Edit Contracts in Madden.

Ok, after I realized all I'm doing is complaining and not doing anything to help, here is the list of players with the wrong contracts on just the Chicago Bears. So for now on, if anyone notices a player with the wrong contract, list them in this thread and hopefully we can get Donny's attention in hopes he fixes the contracts or they patch in that we can edit contracts. This is listed by the last year of the contract to Madden & In Real Life.

Obviously, I'm not going to do all 32 teams and make a long post but as you can see 16 players on the Bears are Free Agents too soon compared to real life or aren't Free Agents after this season and have years added to their contract that shouldn't be. Now I understand most of these players can be fixed manually outside of Franchise Mode if they have 3 Years left, but like I mentioned before with Aaron Rodgers, he signed a 6 Year Deal in 2008, yet his contract shows 1 year left while in reality he is signed through 2014, and I can't sign him to a 4 Year Contract outside of Franchise Mode.

I know there are plenty of other players with wrong contracts, like the OP stated Champ Bailey signed a 4 Year extension and has a 1 Year Deal. Either Let us Edit Contracts or look up the real contracts of players and adjust the contracts so they are correct and Franchise Mode can be more accurate.

^^ Not to mention Orton has 1 year left yet the game has something like 6 years left.

We know that and that is not a problem, the problem is when Cam Newton has 6 Years on his deal, just because they couldn't install the Rookie Scale which would only effect when we go and sign Draft Picks, doesn't mean they can't put the proper contracts in for the rookies. It's going to be weird if Madden 12 Newton has 6 years but Madden 13 his contract shrunk to just 3 Years Left when it should have been like that in the first place.
