Coaches dissapearing?

Has anyone noticed that certain coaches seem to disappear after their contracts run out?

i havent tested it yet in my Bears franchise, after Mike Martz contract expired he disappeared and i couldnt resign him. Same thing for Mike Marienelli. Any one else see this?

Game knows how old they are, and coaches retire just like players do.

Martz is 60 and Marinelli is 62. Seems like they'd have a few years left, but I'd say the game "retired" them. Either that or they got pushed aside to make room for retired players becoming coaches.

naw they werent there. i guess they were "retired" sucks cause the bears are now set up for the Martz offense, i dont know if he gave boost but it would be nice to still have his name on it.

I've simmed the firs season , Once i got to coaches screen notice non of my team IRL Carolina Panthers coordinators are in the game only HC, ST. I search the net to see if they maybe arent part of the coaches union still havent confirm this. I just dont agree with the logic of cutting a future hall of fame coach to hire a Iam Cummings OC or Josh Looman as HC with pretty nice perks.

I noticed this too. As the Bills, I was going to hire Saints DC Gregg Williams as Head Coach but he was gone and wasn't even in the game. I wonder why this happens, I mean hopefully this is a glitch that can be fixed with a patch so coaches stop disappearing on us. Plus if Coaches are retiring, they should have a screen for Coaches retiring so we can see the coaches who retire instead of them randomly going away.
