The spots are the grain on the field turf, the 360 shows them but they look fine, the ps3 is overly done and makes certain parts of the field look like oil spill

Small clip of both versions, I am switching inputs on the tv between 360 and ps3

Input 2 is ps3 on 720p and input 3 is 360 on 1080p

agreed...i watched a Seahawks game last night on NFL network...I noticed the same thing on that field

Dang, the video quality is hard to see anything. No way to upload in 720p for a quality bump(even if u didnt record in true 720p)

If you can zip and upload your video to a share site, I will download it and upload it to youtube in a near lossless resolution with sony vegas pro 8

The fact that NFL turns have the grains is not the issue. It'd the fact that it was not done right, the 360 has the grains but they do not look like pools of oil

yeah I know...it's a port...too bad too cuz MLB the show looks amazing on my PS3...no oil spills in Fenway

colors don;t bother me as much as gameplay...the day the 360 gets better gameplay is the day I'll buy a 360 (again)

but as far as In know...both systems still play the exact same (although someone said there is a nasty hitch in the QB throw animation on the 360)

Here is a example that I really don't think can be denied. Just look at the patchy white spots in the PS3 version. You can adjust color, tint, contrast, or anything you want...but it's not going to remove the patches that the PS3 have coded on it.
