It's not just the field, even the players, everything. I've played the last 3-4 Maddens on the 360, and this year bought it for the PS3. The graphics are a major step back and I was floored by people saying this year looked great. You have to zoom in ultra close on replays just to get the name to not be blurry on the back of jerseys.

This is not the case with the 360 version. Higher res textures, better zoom scaling, better lighting and shading effects. The 360 version looks great and the PS3 is a rough port. Still fun, but graphically weak overall, not just the field.

Havent had a chane to check out every stadium. But I just wanted to say thanks to the EA sports team for getting the white haze issue fixed.

I think dome stdium field lighting on the field could be fixed. And I also think many fields are a bit odd(specially indoor), but I am very greatful for the patch.

Yep, we really got something accomplished with this thread. It got a little ruff during the middle, but our photo's and stuff were great, Giants4Natic helped me with a little TV calibration, and EA listened to our cries...

Long process for me, I had to take pictures and email them to Wheelman so that he could post em, but I'm sure somebody will be happy to post some.

I gotta tell ya though, when I play in Dallas now it feels like my Cowboys just paid a hundred thou, and redid the end zone with the best material possible. LOL The end zone, and turf, look really great.

and what should NOT be forgotten moving forward is that this patch is an admission by EA that they do NOT treat the 2 systems the same...even though they are both capable of similar graphics.

it shouldnt take a patch 2 months after release to get what the 360 folks got on release day.

Not sure I follow. If you can email pictures why can't you attach them to a post?
