Defending the deep pass

Anybody have tips on defending the deep pass. Im not talking about picking a defense, I am just looking for tips on how to defend the pass when you are man up on a receiver.

Do you let the computer defend it? Or do you switch to the db and swat it?

I have been switching and going for the interception but the db seems to slow up at the last minute.

Switch to the DB but do not movie him. When the pass icon circle appears get right up on the reciever like a real life PI and press swat when the WR reacts to the ball. Either the DB will knock it out of his hands or the WR will be very passive and not jump for the ball. If your going up against a user you have to get in the center of the icon hold strafe and time the intercept animation righ tbefore the ball falls. If the WR is much taller than your DB you can do nothing about it because the other player has out schemed you.
