All-Star games are a mistake. The idea of a game where you get to watch the sports best players sounds good, until you realize that the game doesn't matter and no one is going to play hard because they don't want to get hurt.

On top of that, there are special "don't do this and that" rules while other things that are against the rules, like intentional grounding, are okay. You can't even play a 3-4 defense in the real life pro-bowl. So, again, All-Star Games are a bad idea from the start.
