I don't think I even thought about that, but I will look into it next time I am able. I would say there's some sort of difference, but it would be good to know for sure. Great idea!

So if I understand this correctly, we should just scout OL in the regular season? And if we want to scout HB, LB, or DB, scout more than once?

Also, does scouting someone you've already scouted unlock their potential? I'm coming off a bad first draft, but I started using your help mid-season so we'll see if I fair better.

Scouting the OL in the regular season is the only good option, if you need one. You cannot get any good information for the OL elsewhere. If you scout HB, LB, or DB during the regular season (which I encourage), you still should scout those players in the Combine/Pro Days to get more accurate information. You cannot get solid information from just scouting them in the regular season.

Potential is only unlocked when you pick the five for individual workouts. Drafting is very difficult. I have ended up relying on great information just to find out their potential is C or worse. On the other hand, I have only scouted certain players in the regular season, drafted them, and found them to have a potential of B or higher. This thread is only to provide guidance and to prevent unnecessary scouting.
