When playing online should you use auto sprint or manual sprint ?

I turn auto strafe off but leave auto sprint on. Works good for me.

I strongly prefer the feel of manual running.

I usually don't mind the auto for both, but for some reason it seems like the auto has had a negative impact online. there have been more than a few instances where I had a linebacker or corner in pursuit and it seemed like they were simply jogging and/or strafing as the ball carrier blew past them, they didn't start sprinting hard until they were already by them

so I think in the future I'll roll both manual

I turned auto-sprint off and my running game has almost doubled. Auto-sprint seems like auto-block release.

I'm still on the fence with auto-strafe. I can hold the left trigger to strafe and let it go to keep up with a RB who is going toward the sidelines. With A-strafe on it seems like he is slower because he is trying to position himself with the runner while almost doing a sideways run.
