I don't downgrade anyone who's been on IR 50% of the time he's been a pro player.

Teams scheme when they go against Finley. It's hard to guard the guy. Teams must choose their poison on who to double up on the Pack, Finley, Jennings, Nelson, Jones and now Cobb.

Do teams really scheme against Gronk?

He is not a Gates or Witten, but he belongs in the next tier of TE's.

Gronkowski should be a little higher. Finley should not be any lower.

Ratings are fine. Gronk will be one of the top 3 all around TEs in the league very soon. He's a stud blocker and mismatch in the passing game. He has Witten-like potential.

Both are very good, and I'm surprised Denver didn't give Dan more of a shot. I guess the writing was on the wall when we got Julius Thomas and Virgil Green, but still. He could've been good for us.

No. Stats do not beget player ratings. A players actual skills on the field beget their ratings.
