Will we get a patch?

Well I'm in year 3 of Madden 11 and never once did he use a number, he always says "HE", which I always thought was cool of EA to do if you don't have the name in your database--- point is even if it has to be a big patch, then so be it, it's the least they could do for us being beta testers and all

if they can fix that poping sound and the qb to run in coach mode
and fix the offside issue not catching them then ill be ok

oh by the way that wierd thunk sound you hear after kicking is the score board overlay changing to the word kickoff watch the overlay next time and you will see that the thunk sound and the score board word that pops up saying kickoff are tied together.

To me, it doesn't matter if they say he or # 29, it's still laziness not calling out the person by name.

Ok, I didn't make myself clear enough.

I don't ever remember a sports game where there was a patch that included updating commentary. Why? Because the files are too big for MS and Sony.

Bottom line, there are limits to how big a patch can be and I feel the commentary would put the patch over the limits, beta testers or not.

This year, the game came out 2-3 weeks later, just an FYI.

Plus, there was a surprise patch in December.

The game also came out on Aug 14... two weeks earlier than this year.
