CPU controlled QB scrambling tendencies

I'll preface this by saying that I mostly play Madden in CPU/CPU and Coach Mode.

Has anyone else noticed that all CPU controlled QB's regardless of their traits will slide when scrambling instead of taking contact or trying to evade defenders in the open field?

There are rare instances where the slide animation can't be triggered before a defender tackles the QB in the open field, but 9 times out of 10 the QB will slide when facing a defender within 5 yards in front of them in the open field.

The reason I'm asking is that it's become quite annoying to have QB's such as Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, or Michael Vick go into pansy slides instead of either going head up with a defensive back or at least attempt a juke move or to beat a slower defensive lineman around the edge with quickness.

If anyone else has noticed this and attempted to correct the issue, please share what you have experienced. I've tried changing the "Fights For Extra Yards" trait for QB's and it has had zero impact as far as I can see.

I agree it is very annoying to see.. That sucks it can't be fixed with traits like you tried to do..
