A Strategy of Play-Calling
Hello All, I recently moved up to the All-Pro setting because I was tired of getting fake stats in my franchise. Through 4 games i was 1-3. For my fifth game, I started rookie Pat Devlin at QB because Henne was cold, and threw 2 TD 6 INT on the season.
A little background about my running attack..
I usually USE GameFlow, because I like the speedy game type and how fast you can complete a play.... But for my 5th Game, I chose the Conventional play-calling system. What a win!
MY TIP FOR YOU ALL -
I may be stating the obvious, I may be telling you something you already know... But if you took the time to read this little tidbit... I thank you! I hope it helps, because it helped me.
I am the Miami Dolphins, and my running game is putrid. I can't run with Bush because he either fumbles, or gets stopped when called up the middle.
I cant run for yards with Thomas, (4TD), because he is slow but he is my safest way into the end zone when it comes to the goal line.
I switched to the 3-box-conventional for one game to see how it went...
And it was amazing. I used the Spell HB packages for plays that I ran up the gut with Daniel Thomas(83 speed something like 76 power?) so he can gain yards that way, and any play that required me to break outside, I subbed Bush back in since he would be faster, can accelerate quicker, and is near the sidelines to he wont get nailed that often...
What a success!
Thomas had 17 carries up the middle for 67 yards, and 2 goal line TD's
Bush had 12 Carries on the Edge, for 89 yards.
Devlin completed 14 passes for 1 TD.
Liking this so far.
The three play system is staying for me!
