Is there anything in the game that just pisses u off when it happens?

I hate the DB AI in this game. The DB actually mirrors the WR movement, even if he is 5 yards away! So when/if the ball is thrown to the receiver he is totally out of position. To make it worse, the DB usually goes into interception animation. Since he is so far away, that animatio does nothing but take him out of position for the tackle.

One thing is the DB AI for MY team. I have seen a better secondary in High School football then the guys on my defense. The AI's secondary is extremely good, but no matter the ratings, your secondary play's like turd and allows the computer the rack up the passing stats. Even if you mix up blitzes and zones and such, the AI QB passes on your secondary all day.

This also leads to the second worst thing, the big play. Honestly, the computer scores over half of their points on my with a long pass or run play, because my defense, besides from who I control, are total idiots when it comes to tackling or defending the pass. Sliders don't really even fix this problem, as they get big plays all the time.

I dunno, it just feels to me like Madden has taken a step forward AND backward in gameplay this year. Playmaker is awesome, and I like the AI's secondary play, but there are too many things that make the game, I think, more arcadey, then ESPN. It almost feels like Madden is starting to lean in the direction of EA's NHL series, as in arcadey with big plays and not much strategy.

Just got back from my brothers and played his ESPN and Madden will never be played again. Sega beats EA hands down.

Come back logic in Madden is rediculus(spelling)

when a qb throws for 320 yards in the 2nd half because they are down 35-3 and all of a sudden your team can't even get a first down the whole 2nd half. UNREAL.

But that's all right because I found a lot better game in Sega's.

I've played thru one season of a franchise, and I only gave up one 300 yards passing game. That's with average corners and good safeties.
