Cap Help!!

I tried to get a lot of players off of my team that took up a lot of cap space.

When trading these players for picks or younger/cheaper players it says there is no penalty. I go to the team expenses, there are NO penalties, I have 41 million in salaries, around 14 million in stadium costs, and almost nothing in coaches.

My income I gave about 10 million in Tickets
1.2 million in concessions
a few hundred k in parking and merchandise
and between 13.2 million and 150 million in NFL revenue (HUGE GAP how do I tell)

However when I go to off-season I have -50+ million cap.

The of the TEAM is between 0 and 450k!

So how to I got from 108.58 MILLION in CAP with 0 penalties, and 41 million in Salaries to -58 MILLION in one season?

Maybe the Cap penalties are being taken but not show...could be a glitch who knows? That's my best guess though. Confused on why you just didn't do a fantasy draft if you're going to dismantle a young team like the Panthers though

Well the players on the field I can work with. I was 3-1 and just simmed it to see how I'd be looking. and Im - in cap that much! wow. glitch.

But I'll just take my cap off and treat it like it's on if the game wants to hide fees.

Was this a Fantasy Draft or you just go trade crazy? It seems that with the players you have from different teams it seems you went trade crazy and because of that the Cap caught up to all your trading thus you are negative in cap room.

You traded people with guaranteed money still left on their contracts, whatever the bonus is for a player is money you MUST pay him, so if you trade him or re-negotiate there contract you still owe them the bonus (guaranteed) money...............

For example, Santonio Holmes just signed a 5yr 50M deal with the Jets, 25M was guaranteed, so if you trade him figuring you are saving his 10M per year, you are not, you save the 10M but you owe him all his bonus money still, so thats 25M, meaning you still lose 15M
