Re: Shoulder Pad fix that works 75% of the time

I'm confused about why this wouldn't help NCAA imported classes. Are we not able to edit the players in franchise mode this year?

if we had body sliders in franchise mode..alot of the issues would be easily dissolved..the only thing they would have to correct is the "KISS" like shoulder pads...

First thing you do when you see your brand new computer generated player is scroll to the equipment screen.

From there change your players pad height all the way down.

After thats done go to the first initial naming screen and and pick your players position. in this case QB...

Now scroll over to the player build screen and see what the QB's weight and height are at .

From here go to edit the players height for Cam it's i don't know 7 '5 (hes awesome lol I'm kidding you know better)

Once you adjust his height and weight see if them pads is super spikey?

If so now go to change the players weight down by say i think like 20 or 30 pounds.

Now go into the equipment screen and make them pads go all the way up.

Now go back to the player build screen and bulk up your newton with the sliders provided for bulk on the arms rear calves etc until YOU feel newton looks like newton. You can scroll your player around as well and see him moving in that weight in the styles area for his throwing motion.

NOW... once you got him like you like him go to the equipment screen and bring down his pads...

Now you can go back to the player build area and adjust his face and make his stubby grill into a clean shavin fancy pants...

IF you are concerned about momnetum and the like rate him as you would but just a bit higher..

THEN POST YOUR CAM NEWON CAP and let us know how you did it!
So....

1. Go directly to the equipment screen and lower the should pads all the way down.
2. Select the players position.
3. Set the height and weight.
4. Check the shoulder pads.
5. If the should pads are too bulky after setting the weight, drop it down.
6. Go back to the equipment screen and raise the shoulder pads all the way back up.
7. Use the build sliders to customize the players build.
8. Once you are satisfied with the build, go back to the equipment screen and drop the pads all the way back down.
9. Make the rest of the edits and save the player.

the way i have been doing it is as followed:

1. go to equipment screen and lower the pads all the way down. while here i set the rest of the equipment up.
2. go to the info page and set it up the way you want it.
3. go to height and weight section and adjust your player the way that you like.
4. go back to the equipment page again and lower the pads down just one click. you will see that for some reason a little green is there.
5. go to stance section and make your changes.
6. go to ratings and make your changes.
7. go to traits and make your changes.
8. go back to equipment page and lower the pads again. a little green is left for some reason.
9. save, then move on to the next.

i have been successful every time going by this method.

it isn't just the imports, it's udfa, and madden generated draft classes as well. create a player is the only place where there is a work around at this point

Well that stinks ... I have the game coming in the mail, found a heck of a deal for it well below MSRP. Maybe this is something that can be looked at for a patch?

Re: Shoulder Pad fix that works 75% of the time

Tried this last night with a Cam CAP... pads still come out "bulkier" then I would like (comparing to the in-game model for Josh Freeman). Going to try again tonight.
