Free Agent player roles?

How do you see player roles for free agents? I want to sign a veteran mentor for my rookie QB, but can't figure out how to see what free agents have that role.

Well Chad Pennington is a mentor. But you can go to player management. All teams and click on the qbs that are free agents. It gives you the option to sign, stats, and player roles.

I tried that and all I see is edit play and sign player, I too would like to sign a mentor for my Qb

Ah, so not on the actual "Player Roles" screen, instead you have to go to the player management screen. Makes sense.

save game, sign a bunch of them, check their roles, re-load game and sign the one you want :-\
