How many times has your PS3 copy frozen?!

mine has froze twice in past 2 days and i had get up and turn it off from the power button on console then i got msg that my ps3 didnt turn off right and to report it to sony its only ever froze with madden not any other games.

Yes, mine does the same. Freezes and I have to restart the whole game. Today it did it while using supersim. So frustrating. I haven't had any problems with any of my other games! Just Madden!!

Mine JUST froze.

Totally locked up, couldn't even quit out. Then it wouldn't start once I rebooted the PS3. I was like "oh crap". It even took a long time to eject the disc. OH CRAP

But then I cleaned the disc really well and tried again - started up super quick. Looks like it was just dirty disc in my case, thankfuylly.

Mine hasn't frozen one time. Luck of the draw I suppose. It hasn't frozen once on any game now that I think about it.

Mine froze again. It was playing fine, then picked my play and suddenly - frozen. Total lock up again.

Only Madden. Playing Disgaea 4 without issue right now.

My madden has frozen twice on me (but techincally its not a freeze but a blank black screen)... all while i'm about to exit after a frnachise game (both after tuff wins... go figure) but what has really disturbed me is just a couple of mins ago i was in the fourth quarter with my create a team vs cardinals and the game just complete turned off, blank screen and then the ps3 reset itself and went back to the main menu... wtf?

Mine's done it three or four times.

Always while saving. I figured out that it seems to finish whatever file it was saving when it happens, though. So now I just save the Franchise file first (instead of the Profile, which is how the system wants to do it when I tell it to save all files). That way if it locks up, the franchise file gets saved and stays current.
