Why can't I save highlights from my offline franchise games

What's the point of the feature? Am I missing something? When my games are overhand I click EA sports highlights it always says no replay or highlights available. Is this just an online feature? What's the deal.

nope it happens to me alot think maybe just a glitch with the highlight system i hate when it does that though but then if u click another one that's is a basic play it will go right to making the highlight.

You likely don't have a hard drive on your console so the feature is disabled.

I'm not sure if you guys have tried it (I haven't), but I think you have to save the highlights immediately after the play. I have been able to view any play at the end, but not highlights. I don't usually save highlights so I don't know much more than speculation.

i've done that but also i have gotten the same response sometimes as well with cant create but like i said if u go to plays back to maybe like 1 or 2 yard pass or run it lets u create those? lol i also just played my first game online went into save highlights and got one to save then for some odd reason my ps3 froze up in middle of making second one

No you don't have to save the play immediately, you just go into highlights at the end of the game and pick any play you want from the game ans save it.
