Most Realistic Way to Start a Franchise Please?

Ok i have got some ones Roster downloaded after the preseason cut downs were made. Yet I have to go simming through preseason first.
I have my slider settings I'm going with as well.
I have the 1st draft class saved (all I need I only play 2 seasons)
So to use the most accurate rosters in the NFL how do I procede?
I dont really want to go through every team and make changes so what setting do I use to get to the 1st Season Game of the year?
I dont want to control every team just 1?

I also have downloaded both patches and may have deleted the original rosters that came w the game on game day PS3.
Pre Thank You!

What are you even asking? You just posted how you want your Franchise. Now go do it.

because I'm not sure I'm using the correct roster set from someone on here or should I use EA's current one or reset my game and start with the one it shipped with.

Patches or no patches and some of the user cpu settings might be wrong.

Any of the above. I'd use the newest rosters myself. Make your own cuts or sim them. I'm doing a Bills chise....I didn't make any trades and the only FA signings were for backups I wanted.

I'd advise to fill up all the teams rosters so fake UDF's don't end up making the teams.
I filled the rosters with players that were on the team during the preseason. Most of them will be cut in your franchise when rosters are down to 53. Before doing this I found a lot of ea's made up players on the final roster cuts before I edited the rosters and restarted another franchise and it worked out great.
Also, you can just add any players with really low ratings to the rosters since they will be cut in the preseason anyway. I just tried to make it somewhat real.
