Lions are rated a 89 in Madden 12 and are the most overused team in the game now lol

89 seems too high for now. They still have quite a few holes that were exposed before the Vikings/Cowboys decided to pack it in for the 2nd half of those games. Beyond their very good players and depth on the front four, the defense is still pretty average IMO. Also Backus is getting old and Cherilus is still growing - pass protection has looked very weak in a few games.
