Pocket Presence

I scramble plenty times a game with my QB, currently, Tim Tebow. I'm in practice trying to keep in the pocket, I know the right stick helps me stay up in the pocket, how do I use it correctly because I keep getting hit.

Flick it just before you're about to get hit and the QB will try to evade the rush. Like any other button, it doesn't 'work' 100%. If you're going to get hit, you still might go down.

Trust your offensive line, and know the timing of the routes...

Also read the defense before the snap to see where the pressure might be coming from, or if it is coming at all. I always like to have a hot receiver; the guy I will throw at if I'm feeling the pressure or read quick pressure

I've found if you are feeling pressure from the sides, flicking the stick up into the pocket evades the best, whereas if the pressure is coming from the middle, flicking it to either side works best. Like the blake16 said, read the D before the snap and you can probably identify the blitzer to watch out for and react as needed.
