hi, i like running behind a fullback in the I formation, but don't like throwing out of the I too much because i don't use a lot of play action and other than PA pass plays i don't like the slants and other few plays they offer that much.

is there a playbook that features more variety in pass plays, like a lot more, than the standard ones (i'm using Pass Balanced right now but experimenting haven't had a lot of luck).

yes, i could go through all 32 playbooks but if someone is nice enough to suggest something, that would save me a fair bit of time.

Just make your own custom pb. Browse through the I-form sets and choose the plays you like back.

thanks, but i heard custom playbooks are broken.

Almost fixed with the patch. The exception is now all the added Shotgun Formations get filed under the Hail Mary Formation and you'll need to look in two places for your shotgun forms.

Try the Raiders and I believe the Jets have some good stuff in their I. The Raiders also have some good stuff out of their strong I formation too.

The I formation is kinda going the way of the dinosaur, so there is not a whole lot of comprehensive stuff out of I formations. Most of the passing game now is built out of 3 wide sets, but you'll notice that a lot of run-first teams have more passing variations out of their base power sets.

i reccomend Houston. They have 4 I-formations...a lot of good stuff in there, including some reverses, some sneaky motion plays for the TEs and fullbacks, good play action fakes, and of course some good zone run scheme runs. There are also quite a few set up runs that have play actions that use the same motions to catch defenses off guard
