i agree. when scouting if you sort the players by potential, although there is still a "?" under potential, it puts all the "A" potential first then "B" and so on. and a lot of the "A" guys dont go until round 6 or 7 either lol. i can see having a few late gems it round 6 or 7 since that happens in real life(tom brady) but there shouldnt be like 10 "A" potential guys in rounds 5-7, maybe 2 A's at the most.

I would agree if it happened all the time. This draft was a rarity. I did have a few busts too. Keep in mind because of trades I had 10+ picks. I don't use the potential trick to see players. I actually recognized the QB from a previous franchise. He matched the attributes of a player I had previously drafted and recognized him after scouting him.

Nothing against you. If somethings there, I can't expect people not to use it. But the fact that it IS there is what bothers me.

I love this game, but EA overlooks SO many things that it's pathetic. UDFAs, Player Potential, AI Logic (in all facets, not just Franchise wise), it's just amazing that after sooooo many years, they still get the same fundamental things wrong year in and year out.

I really feel that you should've tried to get some kind of draft pick back from St. Louis, even if it was a 6th or 7th rounder to give you a return specialist or someone to help on special teams.

I don't know, I find it easy enough to avoid using the exploits. Scouting and drafting is pretty inexact this year and it makes it all the more rewarding when you do well. This draft was by far the best haul I've ever had in this years game. Most of the time I end up with at best 3-4 contributors.

Love playing 3 games and having my system freeze rawrrr. Going to start over and back it up mainly do to the fact I didnt know the import a draft class are awful

I had another question after looking around and such instead of doing the trade for Jackson. What do you think of a deal that would send marshall some picks and a player to the Bears for Briggs? Looking at it on paper I would have 3 amazing linebackers during a rebuilding phase. My offense would struggle but I think 1-2 drafts maybe a smart signing def could make a playoff run in year 2 if the pieces fit

I would think Marshall + someone + picks would return you more then just Lance Briggs. Remember that IRL Brigg's wanted out of Chicago when the season started (IDK if he still does or not). You may be able to trade just Marshall and a pick for Briggs.

Wow I just noticed how overrated the Phins D still is in the game. Shouldn't their starters be dropping? Especially after the opening night debacle against Brady...it wasn't all Benny Sapp's fault. Their front 7 is not near that good and Yeremiah Bell one of the best safetys in the league..?
