Sad thing is most of this had been in franchise mode (2005 most of what you mentioned was). I like the few subtle changes you made though. Potential definitely = coaching, just look at the QB's and how they develop. Jim Harbaugh comes to SF and makes Alex Smith look like the stud he was suppose to be. All those Raiders coaches that couldn't improve Jamarcus Russell (even though irl he was a lost cause imo). Patriots who threw Cassell in and made him look just as studly as Tom Brady..

I dont know if they still do this but I remember in the older Maddens they would put retired players in the coaches pool...I remember one team I had Shannon Sharpe as my OC

Yeah it's still like that. Drew Brees had a career ending injury my first season and in my 3rd season he was up to be a head coach.

It would be a nice compromise to be able to create coaches to add to the pool...

I'm pretty sure that's not possible at this point, correct?

I still can't believe they still haven't patched this or at least tell us why the coaches aren't in there. Like I said, how can they be in the last couple games but not in this game??

I think there are some easter eggs: coaches with the last name of Cummings, Frazier, Dembroski, and Looman.
