That trade makes no sense. The E-trade baby hollering for daddy when he hears the captains voice is smarter than that.

It's one thing to trade away your best player and arguably the best DT in the game, it's totally another to eat that huge cap hit while doing it for a 37 Y/O S who is likely to retire at seasons end AND get nothing else in return to boot.

You trade away Suh (or Ngata, or Ware or any of the games studs) and absorb that massive cap hit - you better be getting something on the scale of a Herschel Walker trade.

Accepting anything less means there is no AI to speak of - just a shell with no logic.

I tried to trade A pot RB Johnny White and the 29th pick to the Bears for the 27th pick just as an experiment and they didn't accept it even after I edited White to 81 overall.
